Heat-resistant funnel-shaped tank for pellet stove
For this pellet stove, we developed a tank made of polypropylene, a plastic that stands out for its excellent temperature resistance. Thanks to this material, this component is perfectly resistant to the high temperatures that arise during use of the stove.
Production process
The complex shape of the tank made rotomoulding the most cost-effective production method. Instead of manufacturing it from sheet steel – which would have been more expensive and less flexible – we were able to use rotomoulding to achieve a precise and durable shape without compromising on functionality or heat resistance.
Unique technical specifications
Highly heat resistant
To ensure the success of this project, we opted for a special raw material that is highly heat resistant. This allows us to make a pellet funnel for a pellet stove without complications. That is the characteristic of polypropylene, which also gives the pieces a soft green sheen.
Realisation
This piece is equipped with inserts for installation in the stoves. It is also fully prepared in-house by us, with all the necessary milling work carried out, so that the customer only has to assemble it.
