Sustainable sports fencing specifically designed to protect sports fields and recreational areas. Thanks to their elastic material, they can withstand intensive use and extreme weather conditions. They also provide increased safety: the material absorbs impact better than traditional plastic, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
Production process
The Cyclist Safety Barrier is a product consisting of three components and four moulds. These are mounted on top of each other, so each rotation produces a complete barrier.
Unique technical specifications
Material: consists of two raw materials.
- The body itself is made of a more flexible plastic to absorb impact and reduce the risk of injury.
- The legs need to be sturdy to support everything, so they are made of LDPE. The same applies to the barrier cover plate, where customers or sponsors can place their own advertising at the start and finish of the race.
Moulds
The moulds for the smaller post protectors are double moulds. This means that each piece produced is immediately a complete post. There are different variants to provide protection for all post thicknesses.
Realisation
After demoulding, the posts are tied together with Velcro rope and transported. This means that they leave our premises fully protected. A unique feature of our mould setup is that the moulds are stacked per post. This ensures more efficient use of the available space on the machine.
